ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun recited the Preamble of the Constitution on November 26, 2024 on the auspicious occasion of 75th anniversary of Indian Constitution. Shri Mohan Singh Lawal, Administrative Officer administered the oath of the Constitution to all the staff members of the Institute. On this occasion, Dr Charan Singh, Acting Director, ICAR-IISWC in his address said that while the fundamental rights given in the Constitution give us our rights, the fundamental duties given in it remind us of our responsibilities. He said that we should discharge our duties honestly so that the nation of the dreams of the Constitution makers can be achieved.

On this occasion, Dr Jagmohan Singh Tomar, Head, Plant Sciences Division, Dr D.V. Singh, Head, Soil Science and Agronomy Division, Dr M. Muruganandam, PME and Knowledge Management Section were also present. All the scientists, technical staff, administrative and contractual staff of the institute participated in this program.
