ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun successfully conducted a training program on “Soil and Water Conservation and Watershed Management” for IFS Probationers (2023-25 batch) during February 12-23, 2024. The Valedictory function of this training program was organised at IGNFA on 23rd February 2024. The programme was presided over by Dr Raj Kumar Bajpai, I/C Director, IGNFA, Dr Charan Singh, Course Director Head, HRD&SS Division IISWC, Dehradun On this occasion, Dr Charan Singh brief about the importance of this training and urged the probationers to utilize this training effectively in their future endeavors, Dr Rajkumar Bajpai congratulated all the trainees for successfully completing the training programme. The brief contents of training were shared in detail by Dr Charan Singh.
Earlier on 12th Feb. 2024, the course was inaugurated by Dr M Madhu, Director, IISWC and Dr Jagmohan Sharma, Director, IGNFA in presence of Dr Charan Singh, Dr M Muruganandam, Principal Scientist and Head (PME &KM) Unit, ICAR-IISWC, Dr Gajendra Prakash Narwane, the course Director of the IFS Probationers (2023-25 batch) and scientists and faculty members of both the institutions.
On this occasion of valediction, Dr J.M.S. Tomar, Er. S.S. Srimali, Dr D.V. Singh, Dr Matber Singh (Program Coordinator), Mr. Anil Kumar Chauhan from ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun were present. The forum was moderated by Dr. Trisha Roy, Scientist, ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun. At the end of the program, vote of thanks was presented by Shri Akash Goswami, IFS (Probationers), IGNFA, Dehradun.
