Sh. Mohamed Amir Akhtar, District Collector, Koraput, Odisha Visited TSP adopted villages in Narayanpatna Block of Koraput district on 16th of February 2021 along with Dr. M.Madhu, Head of the Centre and other staff of the RC. During the visit he had discussion with the beneficiaries of the three villages namely Mojhiambo, Pindamadi, Dumripodar in Narayanpatna Block of Koraput district. These villages were selected for the TSP activities upon the request from DRDA, Koraput to support the resource poor tribal communities through livelihood activities and Climate resilience good agricultural practices like Mushroom production, mango plantation, and diversion based irrigation etc. The Collector requested the ICAR-IISWC, RC, Koraput to provide technical guidance in establishing mushroom spawn production unit in Narayanapatna block. He appreciated the team for making to reach the unreached tribal community for their welfare and development. Overall he was very much impressed and satisfied with the activities and benefits reaping by the community and also appreciated the team to support surrounding tribal villages for enhancing the livelihood security. Sh. G.W.Barla and Sh. S.Kindal assisted and facilitated in successful conduct of the programme.
