On 26.11.24, the official language inspection was carried out by Dr. Chhabila Kumar Meher, Deputy Director, Official Language Implementation Office (Northern Region Office-2) at Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun. During the inspection, he checked all the files and papers regarding compliance of official language rules in the Institute and gave necessary guidelines on some points. In his interaction with the members of the Official Language Implementation Committee of the Institute, Deputy Director Mr. Meher requested the heads of scientific divisions to encourage the scientists working under their control to promote writing of scientific research papers in Hindi language.

In this meeting, Director-in-Charge and Head of Human Resource Development Division Dr. Charan Singh, Head of Soil and Agronomy Division Dr. D.V. Singh, Head-in-Charge of Hydrology and Engineering Division Dr. P. R. Ojaswi, Head of Plant Science Division Dr. J.S. Tomar, Head of AKMU & PME Dr. M. Muruganandam, Administrative Officer Shri Mohan Singh Lawal, Assistant Administrative Officer Shri Sanjay Pant, Finance and Accounts Officer Mr. Tajwar Rawat and Shri Bhupendra Kumar from Town Official Language Implementation Committee (ONGC) Office were present.
