On 17.09.2024, a one-day tree plantation campaign was organized by ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun under the name of Ek Paudha Maa at village Salga, Block Kalsi, District Dehradun, in which the employees of Eco Task Force also participated. At the beginning of the program, Dr. Jagmohan Singh Tomar, Head of Division of Plant Science, made the farmers aware about the one-day tree plantation campaign initiative. Dr. Tomar told about the importance of trees. On this occasion, more than 200 fruit trees were planted and plants were also distributed to the farmers. Dr. Rajesh Kaushal, Principal Scientist, gave a lecture regarding the importance of plants and the importance of ecosystem. The program was conducted by Dr. Rajesh Kaushal (Program Coordinator) and Mr. Rakesh Kumar (Program Co-coordinator) of the institute. On this occasion, the institute Dr. Anupam Barh, Mrs. Santoshi Rauthan, Mr. Khajan Singh and village farmers Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Mr. Guman Singh, Mr. Gyan Singh, Mr. Sabar Singh, Mr. Tulsi Singh, Mr. Balbir Singh etc. farmers and employees were present. On this occasion, about 200 farmers of village Salga participated.
