A month training program started on 5 August 2024 for 09 final-year students from Dr. N.T. R. College of Agricultural Engineering, Bapatla, affiliated to Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Andhra Pradesh was completed on 5 September 2024. The trainees presented their learnings from the training program organized at the center, which the faculty members of the training program appreciated. The trainees got acquainted with different soil and water conservation measures demonstrated in the research farm of the center and gained practical knowledge related to soil and water conservation. The trainees also got opportunities to join the special lectures on natural farming techniques, drone applications in agriculture, and socio-economic aspects of soil and water conservation measures. The trainees also gave their feedback on the improvement of the training program. The teacher's day was also celebrated with full zeal by the trainees on this occasion by greeting the faculty members with flowers bouquet. The certificates were also distributed to the trainees for successfully completing the training program. On this, occasion the Dr. M.J. Kaledhonkar, Head of the Centre also addressed the trainees highlighting the role of teacher in individual’s life as well for betterment of society. He explained traditional Gurukul system of education, tangible and non-tangible ways of teaching, difference between Guru and Sadguru. He also highlighted role of sadguru in reforming Society. He suggested that books based on teaching of Swami Vivekanand and Mahatma Gandhi can be adopted as Guru in present days. The Bhagavad Geeta can be eternal Sadguru and can bring light of knowledge in life. We must be always grateful to all teachers in our life. The program was attended scientists, technical and administrative staff of the centre. The program was successfully completed with wholehearted support of all the staff of the centre.
